I am a fully qualified Psychotherapist and I am UKCP registered. I have a background in education and training and have had my own psychotherapy practice in Bath for 12 years.
I offer individual therapy at The Abbey Practice in central Bath and I work with people in the short and long term covering a broad range of issues.
My special area of interest is in Women’s health. The areas I work with include:-
Fertility problems and gynaecological difficulties
One in six couples experience difficulties conceiving. Dealing with this situation can be stressful and isolating. Therapy can help provide a confidential setting in which to discuss your concerns whether you are encountering difficulties with your partner, deciding on a course of treatment or wishing to share your feelings. Frequent cause of infertility are hormonal imbalance, tubal blockage, ovulation problems, endometriosis, miscarriage, fibroids and unexplained infertility.
Many women experience I.B.S symptoms. Stress is known to contribute to the problem. Therapy can help by reducing the impact of stress.
Fertility support group
I am able to run a support group around fertility issues and I am currently registering peoples interest in a group with a view to offering it very soon.
If you are interested in personal therapy or in registering your interest in a fertility support group please contact me using the details below.
