Welcome. I have worked as a counsellor for Bristol MIND and Longfield Hospice helping adult clients of all ages with difficulties such as grief, depression, anxiety, anger, sadness and more.

Whilst taking the step to work with a counsellor for the first time might provoke some anxiety, it is something I have experience of and can guide you through.

In session I work hard to create an environment where you feel safe to share how you experience your difficulties, secure in the knowledge that you won’t be judged. My training is integrative which means it draws on a number of theoretical approaches and I will tailor our work to suit your needs, rather than trying to fit you into a single approach.

One of my areas of interest is around death, and how our lives might be enriched by taking some time to consider how we feel about our mortality. Death seems to be a taboo subject in our society and we can feel isolated with our grief for example, or that there is nowhere safe to go to talk when our lives have lost their meaning and purpose.

You are welcome to get in touch for an initial conversation without obligation. If I feel I do not have the right experience to be of service to you I will let you know and do my best to make suggestions for whom else you might contact.

Please have a look at my website for more information about me.

I look forward to hearing from you.
