I am an experienced psychodynamic counsellor, registered with the British Psychoanalytic Council. My approach is grounded in psychodynamic, psychoanalytic principals which allows an exploration of both the presenting problem, the underlying roots and the unconscious mental processes that influence behaviour. I work with adults of all ages, from many different backgrounds, cultures, sexual orientations, offering in-person counselling in a comfortable, calm space. I provide both short-term and long-term therapy to enable us to have time to work through the reasons you are coming to therapy.

People encounter difficult times in their lives for many reasons. You may be feeling anxious, stressed, angry, sad, low or depressed, have experienced loss or have relationship, family or work difficulties and be looking for support in expressing the impact this has on your daily life. You may feel like life hasn’t turned out as you expected, or that you are repeating unhelpful behaviours. Life can bring many emotional challenges and negotiating change and uncertainty can be difficult and distressing.

I provide 50-minute weekly therapy sessions in a safe, non-judgemental and confidential space to reflect upon and explore the difficulties you experience. Together we can gain deeper understanding of what has been happening for you and help you to gain insight into yourself and how you relate to others in your life.

I have therapy rooms based within The Abbey Practice in the centre of Bath and the Chiropractic Clinic on the high street in Street. Both locations are easily accessible by car or public transport. My rooms are on the first floor accessed via a flight of stairs.
