I work with a wide range of issues including:
- Anxiety and stress.
- Depression and PND.
- Self-esteem and confidence.
- Separation, bereavement, and loss.
- Trauma, PTSD including phobias, panic, and intrusive thoughts.
- Parenting, attachment, and adoption.
- Abuse, bullying, anger, and domestic violence.
- Adversity.
- Self-harming behaviour including eating disorders.
- Sexual orientation and difference.
- Menopause and retirement.
- Relationship issues and breakdown.
I have a special interest in woman’s mental health and well-being including fertility, miscarriage, perinatal loss, fear of giving birth, birth trauma, postnatal depression and becoming a new parent.
You might be thinking:
- What has happened to me?
- Why do I feel so isolated and alone?
- How do I grieve this loss?
- Why do I feel such shame about what happened?
- I feel so powerless.
- Why do I feel anxious and afraid of what might happen?
- Why do I feel so guilty?
- My mind is always racing, and I can’t sleep.
- I feel so sad but don’t know why.
- Why do I feel so unsure of myself?
- Where has all my confidence gone?
- I am not good enough.
- Why me?
I provide a calm and safe place where you can freely express your feelings and emotions. I will listen to your story and hear about what has happened to you. Together we can formulate a personal plan to help you to feel empowered and inspired whilst thinking about how you want to change and who you want to be in the future.
Please contact me using my details below and I will answer you as soon as I can. We can arrange a mutually convenient time to discuss your therapy needs and decide if you want to go ahead with a first session.
This and subsequent sessions last for 50 minutes. The first session might feel a little unnerving. I will help you feel as comfortable as possible as we think about options and the best way forward for you.
